THE STEEL

P.G. Adams, Inc. maintains a continuous inventory of two grades of hi-tensile steel in 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" so you can match factory strength and achieve the RBM you need for your truck.

Grader-80:
80,000 PSI minimum yield 95,000 PSI minimum tensile

Grade-100:
100,000 PSI minimum yeild
110,000 PSI minimum tensile

Both are high strength, low alloy automotive grade steels. They are produced for applications where high strength along with weldability, formability, toughness and fatigue resistance are required.

These steels are not heat treated- they are produced to the desired tensile strength at the mill. They are fully weldable and drillable.

We are happy to provide a mill certification for any frames we fabricate for you.
